Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and HiringNotice, run by Pillai InfoTech LLP, when you use hiringnotice.in. By creating an account, posting a job or applying to a job, you agree to them.

1. Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your login safe, give us accurate details, and don't impersonate anyone. We verify accounts with a one-time password to your phone.

2. For job seekers: our no-fee promise

Using HiringNotice to search and apply is free, and it always will be. No genuine employer on this platform will ever ask you to pay to apply, register, or "confirm" a job. If one does, it's breaking these terms. Report it and we'll act. You control who sees your details; nobody gets your contact number until you apply or agree to share it.

3. For employers: who can post and how to behave

HiringNotice is for businesses hiring directly for their own team. Recruitment agencies, placement consultancies and anyone posting on behalf of another company may not post. Businesses such as marketing, digital or insurance agencies may post jobs for their own staff. Every job is reviewed before it goes live. To keep your jobs live, you agree to:

• Post only real openings at your own company. Only verified employers can post, and each posting is reviewed first.
• Never charge candidates a fee of any kind. No one may, at any stage.
• State honest salary, role and location details.
• Use candidate contact details only for the role they applied to or were matched with, and handle them under the privacy policy.

We may reject or remove any job, and suspend accounts that break these rules, without refund.

4. Billing and refunds

Paid packages are paid yearly or every 30 days, at the price shown when you buy. Prices exclude GST, which is added to your invoice. Job, unlock and boost limits are as listed on your package. New paid accounts have a 30-day money-back window. Full package details are on the pricing page, which shows our current published rates. While online payment is not yet available, packages are bought by contacting us, and we confirm the price and GST in writing before you pay.

5. Acceptable use

Don't scrape the database, resell access, post misleading content, or use the platform to harass anyone. Automated bulk downloading of résumés or jobs is not permitted.

6. Liability

We work hard to keep jobs genuine and data accurate, but we're a platform connecting people. We don't guarantee a hire or a job, and we're not a party to the employment relationship. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Limitation-of-liability and jurisdiction clauses to be added by counsel.

7. How do you raise a complaint?

If you have a complaint about a job, an employer, your account or any content on HiringNotice, contact our grievance officer. This section is published under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days of receiving it, as the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 require. Requests to remove content that is unlawful, or that exposes someone's private details, are handled faster, as those rules set out.
